In Islam, Jesus (Isa عليه السلام) is one of the greatest Prophets of Allah. He was born miraculously to Mary (Maryam عليها السلام) without a father, by the command of Allah alone. Muslims believe he was the Messiah, sent to guide the Children of Israel with truth, mercy, and wisdom.

Quran 3:45 beautifully describes the honor given to Jesus عليه السلام:
“And ˹remember˺ when the angels said: O Mary! Allah gives you good news of a Word from Him, his name will be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary—honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those nearest to Allah.” ✨
Islam teaches respect, love, and belief in Jesus عليه السلام as a noble Messenger of Allah — but not as God or the son of God. He performed miracles only by Allah’s permission, called people toward worshipping One God, and remained a symbol of purity, compassion, and faith.
