Doomsday is a mystery that only God knows when it happens. However, God gives guidance to mankind about the signs of the doomsday presence. One of the signs of the coming of the apocalypse is the appearance of an animal called Dabbah.
The arrival of the Dabbah beast is another marker among the most famous markers, namely the rising sun from the west.
This animal named Dabbah and repeatedly called Rasulullah SAW as one of the signs near the end of the world. Besides, Allah also mentioned Dabbah in the Qur'an.
"When words have fallen upon them, We remove a dabbah
(Animals) from the earth who will tell them, that the first man was not sure of Our verses. "(An-Naml: 82)
Dabbah is said to be a creeping beast that comes out of the earth, he may speak to humans and sort out where the believers and unbelievers are.
Rasulullah SAW said if this Dabbah is one of human warning to immediately repent. For, there are some markers that if it appears then the door repentance will be closed. One of the signs of the closing of the door of repentance is the appearance of Dabbah.
"There are three things that if out then there will be no use for the faith of the unbelievers before; Or have not undertaken the good done in his faith. The three things are: the rising of the sun from the west, the Dajjal and the earth beast. "(Muslim)
He also once addressed his saying: "Be hast ye do good deeds (before coming) six things ... (he mentioned them) dabbah." (Muslim).
The resulting dabbah will be able to speak to humans and then put a mark or a stamp on human faces. He gives a sign between the believer and the disbelievers. The sign for the believer is a glowing face, while the one not, the sign given in the nose as a sign of his kufr.
Mentioned in the hadith narrated in Majma'uz Zawaid VIII / 7-8, rather than Huzaifah bin Asid in marfu ', that Dabbah will emerge from Makkah, out of the noblest mosque. His appearance made the earth tremble.
"Dabbah will come out of the greatest mosque, when they (are sitting around suddenly earth shaking) when they are so suddenly the earth splits."
