BODYPAINTING

Hi dear friends,
Today I want to talk about bodypainting technique.
It is naturally different to paint on a body than on a canvas, not being two-dimensional like the supports we usually use. This body breathes, trembles, and swings, because it cannot stand still like a statue.
It is therefore more difficult to paint on it.
Those who are decorated should avoid putting on creams and oils before starting the bodypainting, because the color otherwise does not adhere.
There are two types of bodypainting colours: water-based and oil-based.
I recommend water-based ones, being more easily washable, and not staining because they dry quickly. Oil-based colours are more usefull for clowns, for example, who need to have a strong makeup if they have a water show.
We can also use all the makeup we have: pencils, lipsticks, powders, foundations, glitter and rouge, as they are all colors suitable for the skin.
Bodypainting colors are applied to the skin with a brush or a make-up sponge, and can also be found in fluorescent form.

Ciao cari amici,
oggi voglio parlarvi della tecnica del bodypainting.
È naturalmente diverso dipingere su un corpo che su una tela, non essendo bidimensionale come i supporti che utilizziamo solitamente. Questo corpo respira, trema, e dondola, perchè non riesce a stare fermo come una statua.
È perciò più difficile dipingerci sopra.
Chi viene decorato dovrebbe evitare di mettersi creme e oli prima di iniziare il bodypainting, perché il colore altrimenti non aderisce.
Esistono due tipi di colore per il bodypainting: quello a base d'acqua e quello a base d'olio.
Vi consiglio quelli ad acqua, essendo lavabili più facilmente, e non macchiando perché seccano velocemente. I colori a base d' olio sono pensati piuttosto per i clown p.es, che devono avere un trucco resistente se si fanno versare dell'acqua adosso.
Possiamo però anche utilizzare tutti i trucchi che abbiamo: matite,rossetti, ciprie, fondotinta, brillantini e rouge, visto che sono tutti colori adatti alla pelle.
I colori per il bodypainting vengono applicati sulla pelle con un pennello o una spugnetta da trucco, e si possono trovare anche sottoforma fluorescente.
