This week I went to this beautiful and big fair that contains three fields: agricultural, livestock and food, in short, all that I like!
I found the fair slightly poorer than in the past few years but nevertheless, you can always see an incredible variety of species and breeds, not to mention the huge machinery like combine harvesters, tractors and so on.
Questa settimana sono riandato in questa bellissima quanto grande fiera che racchiude tre campi: agricolo, zootecnico e alimentare, insomma, tutto quello che piace a me!!
La fiera l'ho trovata leggermente più spoglia rispetto gli anni passati ma nonostante ciò, si può sempre vedere un'incredibile varietà di specie e razze, per non parlare dei macchinari enormi come le mietitrebbiatrici, trattori e quant'altro.

Let me explain better, in the world of plants I personally divide people into two types:the nurserymen, where their purpose is simply buying and selling and professionals.
All the plants I saw were almost in 100% peat-only substrates presenting themselves as nurserymen, incompetent, so much so that many questions about treatments were in difficulty. Bad to say but they only care that your purchased plant dies after about 2 months or 3 weeks, because yes, they are precisely timed, like the officinal plants that can be taken at the supermarket.

Ovviamente mi sono subito recato nel settore piante e dei molti stand che trattavano piante grasse, soltanto una persona l'ho apprezzata per come coltivava...
Mi spiego meglio, nel mondo delle piante io personalmente divido le persone in due tipi: i vivaisti, il cui scopo è semplicemente comprare e vendere, e gli appassionati...
Tutte le piante che vedevo erano messe in substrati 100% di sola torba annunciandosi così come vivaisti, incompetenti, tant'è che a molte domande sui trattamenti erano in difficoltà. Brutto a dirsi ma a loro interessa soltanto che la tua pianta comprata muoia dopo circa 2 mesi o 3 settimane, perché si, sono proprio cronometrate, come le piante officinali che si possono prendere al supermercato.
Qui volevo mostrarvi dei lithops venduti in torba e precedentemente innaffiati durante la loro fase di muta, dove non devono assolutamente prendere acqua.

Molto piacevole invece è stata la chiacchierata con il signore di IDEA CACTUS dove già a primo impatto si potevano vedere i substrati delle piante fatti con un pò di criterio, pomice, lapillo, un minimo di inerti insomma!
Subito si può vedere la differenza delle due coltivazioni, nel primo vaso il substrato non è stato neanche portato a livello e questo può provocare una mancata circolazione dell'aria con conseguente sviluppo di patogeni.
Oltre che alle solite succulente, quest'anno ho deciso di ampliare le conoscenze comprando dei bulbi, questo perché non ho mai trattato questo tipo di piante e soprattutto perché l'anno scorso mi sono stati regalati dei bulbi di zafferano e devo dire che hanno fatto una buona riuscita, regalandomi ben si due risottini! :P

Ho comprato vari bulbi di cui i soliti tulipani, in quanto più rustici e adatti alle varie sperimentazioni.
Come spunta una giornata di sole li metterò in terra, nonostante sia un po' tardi vi mostrerò i risultati, sperando siano positivi, i bulbi mi sembrano ben formati e seccati bene.
