Father and Son

Scorrendo i miei vecchi disegni mi sono soffermato su uno dei tanti volti che ho postato nei mesi scorsi.
I volti di marinaio con dentro galeoni, balene e fari.
E' un tema che come è ormai noto mi è molto caro, il tema marinaro mi tiene per mano da una vita e per me è impossibile scrollarmelo di dosso.
Rivedendo queste immagini ho fatto una riflessione.
Potrebbe un vecchio disegno avere un seguito? potrebbe essere un come un pezzo di una storia che attende di conoscere il suo seguito? secondo me si!
Forse stasera stò vaneggiando ma il mio pensiero è stato il seguente:
Ma se uno dei miei marinai, come questo sotto avesse un figlio? come sarebbe:

Di sicuro erediterebbe la passione del mare dal padre.
Un po tutti i bambini, chi più e chi meno, almeno per un periodo della vita sogna di fare la stessa cosa del padre o della madre.
Probabilmente valuterebbe la cosa sotto un altro punto di vista dettato dalla sua età.
Allora ho pensato di rappresentare un bambino con il cappello da marinaio e nella sua testa una barchetta di carta sospinta da una grande onda.
Questa storia che i disegni potrebbero avere un seguito mi affascina tantissimo.
Partire da un disegno e costruirci una famiglia, una storia intorno.
Mi piace molto questa cosa......
Vediamo se porterà a qualche progetto futuro o forse è solo un avviso che mi invita ad andare da uno psicologo per curare la mia mente visionaria

Scrolling through my old drawings I focused on one of the many faces that I posted in recent months.
The faces of a sailor with galleons, whales and lighthouses inside.
It is a theme that, as is well known, is very dear to me, the seafaring theme has been holding my hand for a lifetime and it is impossible for me to shake it off.
Reviewing these images I made a reflection.
Could an old design have a following? could it be like a piece of a story waiting to know its following? In my opinion, yes!
Maybe I'm raving tonight but my thought was the following:
But what if one of my sailors, like this one, had a son? how would it be:

Certainly he would inherit the passion of the sea from his father.
A little all children, some more and some less, at least for a period of life dreams of doing the same thing as the father or mother.
He would probably evaluate it from another point of view dictated by his age.
So I thought of representing a child with a sailor's hat and in his head a paper boat propelled by a big wave.
This story that the drawings could have a following fascinates me so much.
Starting from a design and building a family, a story around it.
I really like this thing ......
Let's see if it will lead to some future project or maybe it's just a warning that invites me to go to a psychologist to take care of my visionary mind
