The connection between the two come easy: the union of extremely volatile , decentralized and "pseudo" anonymous assets with betting, games and gambling with fortune.
This was one of Erik Voorhees' ideas when he created SatoshiDice (now MegaDice) that he then sold in 2013 : now we have countless gambling platforms and tokens in the cryptoworld.
Voorhees is also the creator and CEO of ShapeShift.io : a completely anonymous exchange where you can change coins just by giving the receiving address and sending funds, without registration or personal data.
