Pere esempio: il fotografo intende denunciare lo scarsa attenzione per la cura dell'ambiente, ecco una serie fotografiche avente come oggetto delle bottiglie abbandonate oppure dei rifiuti di plastica su di una spiaggia. Il fotografo intende rappresentare la spensieratezza dell'infanzia ed ecco che magari può andare una serie di fotografie con foto che di bimbi sorridenti su di una giostra, ecc.
È importante quindi unire più fotografie in un a "serie" con una certa coerenza stilistica per creare "una sorte di dialogo continuo” tra il fotografo ed il pubblico.
Ecco quindi un mio tentativo timido di creare una mia serie fotografica.
Sono inclusi degli scatti che feci l’estate scorsa in occasione di un paio raduni d’auto d’epoca nel Regno Unito. C'erano molte auto vintage, alcune davvero molto curate.

Qual’è il messaggio della mia serie fotografica?
È l'idea che non ostante il tempo che passa alcuni oggetti rimangono desiderabili oggi come lo furono in passato. Sembrano essere inossidabili.
Se qualcuno ci vedesse dell’altro (a parte la mia tecnica scarsa) ben venga! Spero di leggere qualche vostra interpretazione nei commenti.

Tutte le foto sono state scattate con la "piccola bomba": una Nikon1 J5 che trovo ottima per chi ha esigenze di spazio e di peso ( per chi viaggia).

Basically what the author says is that producing a photo series is an efficient way of conveying any kind of message. By means of more than just one photograph, each tied to the other by style and subject matter (think of wedding photography), you can draw the public's attention onto a particular theme, issue, topic, idea, problem and so on.
For example, if you want to draw focus on the state of the environment, then some snaps of abandoned bottles or litter on a beach could be appropriate. If the desired effect is to highlight the joys of childhood then perhaps some frames of kids laughing in an amusement park might work well.
It's all about building a “continuous dialogue” between the photographer's pictures and his public.
So, here’s my attempt at a photo series.
I took these pictures last Summer at a couple of vintage car rallies in the UK. Some of the old timers there were absolutely stunning and immaculately kept.
Whats the message in my photo series?
They don't make them like this any more, but still cool!
I guess it has to do with nostalgia really and about time that goes by but also it has to do with how some icons of the past remain desirable objects of today, as if timeless.
Perhaps you can see something more than this (apart from my poor technique)? If so, I would love to read about it in the comments section.
All pictures were taken with a small compact Nikon1 J5, a great CSC for those concerned with the size and weight of their camera. It’s great machine for travelling, I find.
