Sicily is a world where schedules are vague guidelines (if they exist), people don't walk but meander, and a meal can last for hours. Nowhere is this more true than in the seaside paradise known as Cefalù.
Much of southern Italy exists outside the passage of time and its all the better for it. This is a simple place. Food, family, and la dolce vita (sweet life) rule here. One part of the la dolce vita (besides pastries) is of course the beach!
It's simply stunning. Whether you like rocky or sandy beaches, Cefalù offers a bit of both. A short walk, or meander, down the lungomare offers a trade between the two. Most seem to congregate near the stone pier jutting into sea, serving as a diving point with stunning panoramic views. For me, there simply isn't a view that isn't worth taking of beautiful Cefalù.
