Born under the name Andrae Whittaker, he grew up in Salt Spring, a community on the outskirts of the city of MoBay.

But it has been rapidly ascending within its gender, managing from that corner of Jamaica to cross borders.

Many of her music reflects a degree of violence that some people don't like, but there is no doubt that this is not to incite violence, but rather a way of showing it and criticizing it.

But as with everything, there will always be people who like it and people who don't.
