Y'all thought I forgot, but you're sadly mistaken if you thought I'd forgotten about my CD breddaz. I bring you the final Faces of Jamaica post, bonus edition 2 of 2 on this special day - ReggaeSteem's Proof of Stake.
The CD Breddaz
These two characters traversed the 7-mile hawking their CDs that they had previously produced. They both had a very infectious and bubbling-over Jamaican lingo about them.
"Ya mon how about di fire trackz, you take listen to our jams?"
Of course, I took a listen. They had a boombox they carried around on the 7-mile all day jahming their stuff. They'd sell you one for $5 American and then immediately say, "Tree (3) for 10 the deal!"
The price dropped per CD, but what was I going to do with 3 of the same cuts? They said,
"You can give them to your friends..."
The CD breddaz were wheelin' and dealin' and they were definitely hip as they were doin' their thing. Check out their gear. They had an irie vibe about them too. You can tell from the photo, but much more so in person. I'm sure you can imagine.
Da Breddaz!
