This is my favorite temple in Nagoya, one of the only ones with a giant Buddha statue.
It's a Shingon Buddhist Temple that was originally built over 480 years ago.
It also has an actual pet cemetery.

And tucked in the back of the temple is a small Shinto Shrine, which is fairly rare now in bigger cities since most of the temples and shrines were separated during the Meiji Period.
Toganji Temple looks great all year, but I really like visiting it in autumn when it starts showing its Fall colors.
