Every year in Duesseldorf (Germany) there is a so called Japan Day. This event is happening mostly on May or June and is organized by the Japanese community and Duesseldorf to represent the country and their culture. Here in Duesseldorf is one of the biggest Japanese community in Europe. Here are based many Japanese companies , restaurants and even a Japanese school.
Especially manga fans and cosplay people are coming from everywhere's to join this event. Its always full crowded. Eventhough I have been attended it maybe the last 10 years, its always fun to be there. The people, especially the younger ones and teenies are wearing costumes (some are so funny), or just traditional Japanese clothes such as a kimono. You can hear music everywhere, teens dancing to Japanese music and other livebands singing songs. Its a nice atmosphere and we were lucky with the beautiful sunny weather. But if you dont like fullcrowded people then it can be difficult.
Also there is always a big stage where they perform Japanese music (instruments) and dances. Along the promenade are many tents where you can buy japanese food , clothes, accessoires, etc .. its really a must visit for big japanese fans! Highlight is the great firework at 11pm !

That ship was cruising along the Rhine river but it always did u-turns 😂
As I said before, the firework is the highlight. It started at 11pm by time, and you never get disappointed! The show was great, even some fireworks of smileys were showing! Everybody was only saying like „wowww“!! Will post a short video about the final part of the firework. It took 30minutes and after it the Japan day is finish.
