I also went to Saitama Stadium 2002 as I went to see the stained glass of Captain Tsubasa. It is my first time to come here on a day without a match. In the 2002 World Cup, it was used in Brazil versus Turkey matches such as semi-finals. It is the biggest soccer stadium in Japan that can accommodate 63,700 people at Urawa Reds' home stadium. It was also used in all the home matches of the national team's Russia World Cup Asian Preliminary round.
キャプテン翼のステンドグラスを見に行ったついでに埼玉スタジアム2002にも行ってきました。試合がない日にここにくるのは初めてですね。
2002年W杯では準決勝のブラジル対トルコの試合などで使われました。
浦和レッズのホームスタジアムで63,700人を収容できる国内最大のサッカースタジアムです。
また日本代表のロシアW杯アジア予選のホーム全試合でも使われました。

I am also looking forward to it as it is also chosen as the venue for football in the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
敷地内にはストリートバスケのコートもあります。
普段試合のある時に来た時は気づきませんでしたが、こうやって試合のない日でも地域のスポーツをやる場所として提供されてるのはいいことだと思いました。
2020年東京オリンピックのサッカーの会場にも選ばれていますので今から楽しみです。
