体育の時間のハンドボールの授業で生徒と接触して頭を打って、学校から東京都立小児総合医療センターに救急車で運ばれました。
幸い骨折はしていなく打撲で済んだので、ほっとしました。

念の為にMRIを撮ったのですが、頭になにやら影があり「くも膜嚢胞」のようです。先天的な構造異常だそうで、普通に生活する分には問題がないのですが、説明によるとボクシングなどの頭を強く打つスポーツは避けた方が良いみたいです。
息子の学校の体育の先生もずっと付き添ってくれ、診断も一緒に聞いていたのですが、ちょっと苦笑いしてしまいました。
何故かというと、息子の体育の先生は世界ランク２位の元プロボクサーだったからですww
診断を聞いて会計待ちをしていた時に、先生に「やっぱり試合のあとは、顔が腫れたりするんですか？」と聞くと先生は「僕は打たせないので、それはありませんでした。」と言ってました。
さすが、世界で戦ってきた人の言葉だな〜と妙に納得しました。

偶然に見つかってラッキーだった「くも膜嚢胞」ですが、もう一度検査をして、今後の生活のアドバイスを聞くことになりました。
お世話になった東京都立小児総合医療センターはとても綺麗で大きな病院でした。
このような病院なら、病気の子の気持ちも少しは紛れるなぁ〜と思いました。
