As noted in my previous post, I have continued making jewelry despite a long Steemit silence on the subject. Most of my designs are still in the Steampunk aesthetic sphere, but I have continued experimenting with other designs, too.
Dragonflies
I made several beaded dragonfly pendants with Swarovski crystals, and used them for more earrings and necklaces. The one on the left is obviously the most embellished, and I tried several different patterns. What do you think?
Steampunk Assortment
At the back is a leather bracelet I found on clearance at a craft store, and I decided it needed cogs. There are very few things that are not improved by adding cogs. In the front, from left to right, a pair of clockwork insect earrings, two pairs of key-themed earrings, and a treble clef necklace made from a charm and some chain.
Various earrings
I added some basic copper findings to my supplies, so several pair use that material. The top right pair is based on an image I found online using retaining rings as a jewelry element. Bottom left and bottom right feature silver-plated elements. The rest above and below use a variety of beads and findings with various metals.
Necklace and Earring Sets
More cogs. More keys. More beads. What do you think?
Left: Antlers again! I made a similar set a while ago, but these have some minor differences. For now as I experiment, I try to not repeat previous projects. Right: I rather like these odd square beads, so I used headpins to take advantage of their shape and keep the center empty.
Yeah, that Christmas-ornament-style set is truly garish. So now you know what to buy for someone in revenge for ugly Christmas sweaters! hint, hint! 10 SBD including US shipping?
And last but not least, an assortment I put together last night. Top row: A necklace with a leaf pendant, antler earrings, and a necklace with a musical note pendant. Bottom row: two sets of beaded earrings, one more cameo necklace that includes some kind of woven fabric element, and a pair of earrings using retaining rings, copper jump rings, jasper beads, and gunmetal-finish ear hooks.
Shameless Capitalism
Most of these pieces are for sale! If you see something you like, I am open to reasonable offers. SBD is preferable, but Paypal could be an option. I can be reached on on steemit.chat, where my handle is also .
