Kangaroo is a typical Australian animal that invites the attention of tourists when visiting this country. But a popular tourist spot in Australia tries to teach tourists that kangaroos are wild animals, not pets to be caressed like cats. This warning came after several accidents related to kangaroos at Morrisset Hospital south of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia. There, there are flocks of kangaroos that can be found. This place is popular with tourists, so the local government issued a warning about the danger too close to the kangaroo. There have been several accidents, namely tourists injured due to kangaroos. Kangaroos are attracted to the food that tourists give. Kangaroos can be aggressive when trying to take the food they like. When that happens, there is a danger of the possibility of injury to the person who provided the food. Bus companies that take tourists from the train station to see kangaroos at Morisset Hospital (which is actually a psychiatric health facility) have worked with local authorities to educate tourists not to feed kangaroos.
