A diversified job looks different…
Yes I had a new job and I was really happy about it. I got hired by a plastering company which worked at the cinemas in Smithfield. So I build up the cinemas with steel and concrete and now I was responsible to fit it out with plasterboards! Thats pretty cool, isn't it? But after a few days i figured out what role i had in that company… for now, just labourer! All I had to do was carrying plasterboards up the scaffold. Pretty boring but at least it kept me fit! The cinemas are a very big project and we got every day new plasterboards delivered. Dozens and dozens per day. Some type of forklift, lift up the delivered boards to a ramp at the first floor and the two other labourers and me were supposed to spread them across the cinema, so the plasterers wouldn't run out of material and the production didn't stop!
Alright that type of work didn't really challenge my brain, but it brought me in a decent salary so there was nothing to complain about.
