An action film without a break.
The sound, music and lighting play together very well in this movie. They all combine to makes this one of the better action movies around, it wasn't as highly rated at the cinema as perhaps it should have been. A fast paced and intense film, very much worth watching.
This is about a retired hit man, one that was one of the best in his day which wasn't that long ago. Just after loosing his wife to cancer he is given one final gift from his wife, a puppy. This is meant to be something he can learn to love and hence not loose his way.
A short time there after he is filling up his car with petrol and an arrogant young man (Josef) from a Russian mob offers to buy his car (69 Mustang). He doesn't know who he is dealing with, and is offended when the offer is refused. Josef and his crew pay John wick a visit in his house, steal his car and kill his dog.
They take the car to chopped at one of the mob garages in the area, the head of the garage recognises the car as John Wick's car and refuses to do anything to the car.
After John Wick buries his dog, he un-buries his old life and goes after the people that stole his car and killed his dog. Josef's father is all too familiar with John's capabilities, this can only end one way. Either John gets his justice or he will be dead.
