We are all taught growing up that John Wilkes Booth was hunted down and killed by Union soldiers in a barn house days after assassinating President Lincoln. Recent evidence however, suggests that he got away with it and lived decades after under different aliases. It would be very interesting to see a DNA test on the body in JWB’s grave, but I don’t think that’s going to happen any time soon. Still there are some interesting claims here.
