Oily Vision
OUT WALKING AT NIGHT
It had been raining all day and, apart from not being able to carry out all my outdoors plan for the day, I had not gotten any exercise at all. Besides, I was starting to experience cabin fever. LOL.
Anyhow, the moment the rain stopped I hopped out of my front door and went for a good walk in the dark. My neighbourhood is pretty lit up, we have a lot of shops and businesses that open late into the night, so it wasn't really dark at all.
I tried taking some night photos, which the iPhone11, and older, is pretty good at. Sadly I had touched the lenses with an oily finger and all the photos were garbage. I did take a couple of selfies though since the front-facing camera was relatively oil free. I did try to clean the lenses on the go, but all I did was smear the oil. I needed one of those microfibre cloths and some soapy water to wipe it clean.
You can still see the light glare created by the slightly oily lens. I thought it actually created quite a good effect. There's probably a filter out there somewhere that gives this effect to otherwise perfect photos :)
Peace & Love,
