Sometimes I Work At MacDonalds At Night

We have a MacDonalds near me that opens quite late. In fact, with the exception of the petrol station down the road and the two delicatessen on the high street, it's the last shop to turn out the lights in the small hours of the morning, if it ever does. Lately I've been opting to work there in the evenings because it actually becomes quite quiet. The coffee is also the cheapest in the country, while not being too bad. Most of the time, it's not that easily distinguishable from the stuff in Starbucks. They don't have the variety in dedicated coffee shops, but they have the americano, which is just called "black coffee", and that's all I need.

The reason I've been working there at night is, apart from the relative quiet, because sometimes I enjoy a change of scenery. I also find being at home a little distracting sometimes because I have access to all the other stuff I have to do. Finally, it's warm in there and the heating is free :)
