I love reading the news.. but we all know the news is probably just "bad news".
So I'm starting to not love the news. It's as though the cycle of despair keeps rolling on. Some say sex sells; well also bad news sells. At one point do you say it's all a shit show and it's time to focus on other things?
But old habits seem to die hard.
Checking the news is like having 500 channels on a cable network and basically your fingers get a work out from clicking to the next channel. It's as if I am like cattle; out grazing in the field chewing the same thing every day. Perhaps it is designed that way. Perhaps we are meant to be cattle. Funny how the world's knowledge is at our finger tips, and yet most of us are still cattle. "Waking up" like conspiracy theorists do doesn't seem to help either.
Once you "wake" up you spend most of your time reading the news or researching what you already woke up too.
But old habits seem to die hard.
Changing habits is hard. I am a creature of habit; I'll still check the news!
Oh what's that? My master is calling see you later!
