I just finished my first Zoom Interview for a claims position in the Insurance Industry and it's left me feeling autistic.
Is there a link between the impersonal nature of social media, video conference calls and the female psyche which tends to emasculate men, or otherwise stymie their usual ease of communication?
I do not like being prompted to share myself online in such a way, nor do I feel fairly done by when I consider that my stammering nervousness using Zoom on mobile app by blu-tacking my phone to the wall, could be enough to disqualify me as a candidate.
We shall see.
