U.S. President Trump aired a cheque on Twitter showing that he had donated $100,000 to the Department of Homeland Security and that he had donated 400,000 presidential salaries to different agencies every year.

Trump said, "The media don't like to write about it, and I don't need them to write about it: I donate my $400,000 salary to different agencies every year, to the Department of Homeland Security. If I don't do this, false news will surely make a big fuss again!!
Since taking office, Trump has donated his salary to various government agencies and organizations, including the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Communications, the National Park Service Center, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Public Services, CNN reported.
According to CNBC, the US president's salary is $400,000 a year, plus an additional spending budget of $50,000 a year, tax-free travel funds of $100,000 and entertainment funds of $19,000 a year.
