前回に引き続き、今回は法然院の門内を、
Continuing from last time, this time I will introduce you in the gates of Honenin, with @ noteman eyes.
真四角の開口部から見える向こう側の景色を演出する古く整然とした門。
古びて見えますが、近くで観察すると日々細かなところまで
手入れがなされているのがわかります。
Entrance gate (thatched roof)
An old and orderly gate, directing the scenery behind the sight
from the square opening.
Although it seems old at first glance, you can see that
every day is carefully tailored.
白い砂利を盛り立てて禅的風景を作り上げています。
このような設えは龍安寺など京都の様々な寺で見ることができますが
特に東慶寺の禅的庭造りは徹底しています。
Byakusadan-Terrace of White Sand
We are building a Zen scenery with a gravel of white gravel. Such a setting can be seen in various temples in Kyoto such as Ryoanji, but especially the Tokei-ji Zen garden construction is thorough.
ここでもヤマモミジがライトグリーンの新芽を風に揺らしています。新緑が浮き立って本当に綺麗です。

Rhododendron
Rhododendron japonoheptamerum.
咲いてしまえばツツジとほとんど同じなのですが蕾から咲きかけの
頃は熱帯植物のような原始的なエネルギーに満ちた力強い姿です！
Rhododendrons are representative plants that decorate
the spring of Kyoto alongside the dogwood.
It is almost the same as azalea if it blooms, but it is a powerful figure
full of primitive energies like tropical plants
when blooming from bud!
敷地内の池には透明度のある水がたたえられており、
多様な植物と鯉の住処となっています。
Transparency water is gathered in the pond in the premises,
and it is home to a variety of plants and carp.
誰かがレイアウトしたわけではないのに大変見応えのある造形を
作り出しており、思わずうっとりと見とれて時間を忘れてしまうのでした…

古い木の杭にまで所狭しと植物が着生しており、自然環境の豊かさをありありと感じることができます。

Smaller white moss
Leucobryum juniperoideum.
分厚く成長したホソバオキナゴケの絨毯。ここまでの群落を形成するためには
数百年の時間と落ち葉払いなどの管理を要します。
今は晴天続きの４月なのでやや乾燥していますが梅雨時の
雨上がりに訪れたのなら目をみはるような
美しさ見せてくれることは確実です。
A rugged carpet of thick-faced Smaller white moss. It takes

ヒノキゴケとオオスギゴケも混成していますが、勢いのバランスが取れており

このようなバランスのとれた群生は比較的少なく、苔同士は大抵せめぎ合っています。
Although Pyrrhobryum dozyanum. (no Englifh name) and Hair cup moss are also mixed, the balance of momentum has been taken and living separation is done.
This kind of well-balanced population is relatively few, and mosses are mostly intermingled.
