A Panoramic Driveway View
Eight days ago we had our first real snow of the season, When it was all said and done, about 10 inches of snow. It snowed again on the 11th and 12th and we had a short power outage the 13th I think. We had our driveway plowed on Monday. Then Tuesday it started to snow again in the evening, then through most of Wednesday. Thursday we woke up to a lot of snow on the vehicle, and a cold house. So clear the vehicle shovel just around the vehicle. Start it up and let it warm while recovering from the clearing in the house. Then off for a drive. A lucky drive as we are leaving the snow plow guy shows up, I mention the power outage and that we were going to go get some coffee. He was nice enough to let me know where I wanted to go had no power so the other direction we go.
So some of you have seen my Panoramic Driveway Pictures. Yes I am still working on learning and at what size the program works at a good speed. So these 5, (yep moved up to 5 images now), were resized to 2000 wide by 1333. Program worked pretty nice and quick at that level. Last week I had the issue with to much unvaried white space (snow) in the foreground, no such issue this time.
Yes it was extreme overcast when I was taking the pictures, and it is snowing again now while I write this post. Life. So the light is not professional lighting. It is lighting from mother nature, what she gave me to work with. It really is a color picture, even though it sort of looks black and white.
The little auto resized by steemit just does not really show well, but you can right click and open in a new window and see the big picture. I think I am going to have fun when spring and summer come next year with panoramic photo taking/editing. I really am enjoying it.
Here is the drive way from before the second plow job.
You can see partially filled in tracks from the return trip to the store. When the snow was all done falling there was no track evidence left.
Our snow plow guy does a pretty good job at getting rid of it, (the snow). Here is the results we came home to early Thursday afternoon. The power was back, and the driveway cleared, it was a good day despite the snow, and power outage.
Well if it does not stop snowing we will soon be back to that middle picture and a driveway full of snow again. But that is okay, it is normal, unlike the beginning of winter and no snow on the ground.
