Waiting on the mail

I am looking forward to a new photo program coming soon, so I thought since it has been a number of days since I posted here, I would show what I have been able to accomplish with my other two programs I am currently using. I am hoping with the new program I will not need to keep switching between, but likely will still find something in each program to play with.

Here is the original start picture:

A sort of okay shot for a point and click picture taker like me, I do get lucky and get some better pictures. After playing around with the original picture in a couple of programs this is what I sort of finally settled on:

I think it could have used a little bit more work especially on the boarder choices, and the font choice and colors, but I am still learning to be creative and do think I am getting a little bit better at it all.
