The smell of gunpowder, the thunder of gunshots, and clouds of terror started to scatter on 5th of September. The famous Karachi operation was started by security forces. Many members of banned outfits and miscreants were put behind the bars or killed during encounters.
Shortly, as peace prevailed in the major metropolitan city of Pakistan, people from all over the country began to settle here in search of work. After which "municipal terrorism" ripped off Karachi.
- yes you got it right, I am talking about Karachi. Once a city of lights is no more recognized as the same.
My beautiful city has turned into ruins and it truly hurts. The current political situation is under severe instability. It feels left out being a citizen of Karachi. These days entire Pakistan is on a very haunting roller coaster ride, however, the city which suffered the most, second after rural Sindh is Karachi. This great city needs a massive renovation, both in terms of reforms and infrastructure.
I hope, one day it will rise back to its glory. !
