I have been doing the Ketogenic lifestyle Diet for over 3 years and if you include all the years of Atkins. then many more. If you are not awaree of the ketogenic diet you should be. It has been proven science that you can live off the Fat in your Body for fuel, and you can use healthy fats to help get you body into Fat burning mode.
