If you have your RPC set to DEFAULT it might post to Steem blockchain in case it fails fetching the default RPC.
The bug was fixed immediately and an update was pushed to the stores. It was approved instantly on Firefox, but someone in the Google team suddenly decided that we were not respecting their Policies (although no additional permission was requested since the last update).
We are working actively to try and find a solution with Google. In the meantime, to avoid the issue described above, follow these simple steps.
If you are using Firefox or a local install, you can ignore this post.
- Open the Keychain popup
- Navigate to the Settings
- Click on preferences
- Under
Select an RPC Node, chose something other than DEFAULT.anyx.ioandapi.hive.blogwork great.
We are hoping to fix the situation with the Chrome Store soon, but they have a tendency to be a pain to deal with, we ll keep you updated!
