Another short-sighted decision to dive down further into the depths of continued dependence and addiction on polluting fossil fuels harming humans, the environment, and wildlife. The recent approval in Nebraska will be challenged by Native American and environmental assemblies. Those opposed may try to block construction with resistance similar to the protests for the Dakota Access pipeline. The dirty energy policies of the U.S. will continue to enrich the few while polluting and reducing sustainable job opportunities for the voiceless multitudes.
