So as you know I was born in Guatemala and then adopted by a French Canadian at the age of 5 and a half. My parents didn't speak a word of Spanish, first in Guatemala they had a translator with them all the time. But once we landed in Quebec Canada, it was a different story. I couldn't understand too much but when you need to communicate and you're that age, you learn the language really fast. So my parents put me to learn French intensively and also I consulted a speech therapist. A few years later, at 8 years old,I won an award in a conquest speech in French. It was about how is important to help each other. latter I started learning English on my own at 9 years old as I was doing DOS progamation on a comodor VIC-20. At the time to find a job in a restaurant it was a must for me to have the language, so now I am working on the French translation of the Amazon web page I have lost the means to speak Spanish. I'm trying to learn Spanish in Canada but seriously I couldn't, weirdly I'm moving to Latin America and I easily learn my Spanish.
