God cannot be everywhere, so he created parents. I didn't believe in this saying when I was a kid because my parents were overprotective and stopped me from exploring what I wanted to, but now when I am in their shoes after being a parent myself, I understand how true it is. Parents are always concerned about their kids. Did they eat or not? Are they fine at school? Why is his school van not reached on time ? And many more thoughts go through my mind every day. I, very much like my parents stop him from doing many things which I feel is not safe for him.

The only concern for parents is their child's safety and well being. Parents are harsh on their kids, not because they like it, but because they want their child to be safe. Preparing a child for the future is one of the biggest concern for parents. We let go our today's to ensure that our child has a good tommorow.
Every parent loves their child and so did this dad from Maharashtra (India) who didn't think twice before jumping in to catch his 16 year old daughter single handedly while she lost her balance and fell from the 5th floor.
His daughter fell directly on his head which caused him severe head injury and was declared dead on arrival by the hospital, however his daughter also was hurt badly by the fall and is recovering in the hospital. The daughter is still not told about her father's death.
I am pretty sure that his soul is not repenting on what he did for his purpose was to save his daughter and it was achieved. He must have been satisfied and happy for he could save his daughters life which was not possible if he has not jumped in to cut her fall.
Value your parents and make sure that you keep them informed of how much they mean to you. Be vocal, because who knows when time changes. Life is short, make the most of every moment you have.
