PEACE
I met her on a couch
She was wonderful and beautiful
Dad made a great choice
Does she have a name, No!
So we named her Peace
Quite ironic for a dog
Yet the name caught up with her
Peace was peaceful about everything
Save the things that mattered to her
Ha Ha, her bark was deep like a trombone
Sends shivers your spines even your bone
The Rottweiler was bought for business
But had an ish with child birth
Three years no sign of triplets
Investments gone like an off note triplet
Nonetheless we took Peace as family
Gave her all she ever needed
And hoped for the best
Yes!, the best to make her rest with her
After about a year later
Peace became so sick
We all indeed feared
Because Peace became so weak
We did all we could
She did all she could
We fought hard to make her live
She did the same thing too
So one morning as we awoke
To a blessed day filled with hope
Peace lay lifeless with no breath in her nose
Sad feeling griped us all
But life has got to go on
So we received comfort
And where ever you are now
PEACE, REST IN PEACE!
