I send a transaction yesterday with Bitcoin to an exchange. It took several hours until i went to sleep and was available in the morning. This shows why Bitcoin is not ready for prime time.
The next thing is the problem of usability. I had people send me bitcoin to the wrong address because they didnt understand what bitcoin hashes mean.
So there is kin cryptocurrency which tries to solve both of these problems.
They are going to fork stellar and make a zero cost transaction fee and with the speed of the stellar network you wont have the same problems. additionally you will be able to transact based on usernames within kik for example. (i dont know how it will work outside of kik) probably from username to username.
so like steam account username XYZ sends to kik username XYB. i could imagine that thats there plan.
Well i took the opportunity to buy more kin today
