I have been using a new tag in my posts, it's "knowfilipino." I am using this tag to showcase posts about Filipino food, tradition, values, and culture. I am inviting Filipinos to use this tag when making a post about anything distinctly Filipino or to promote our very own culture here in Steemit. I am also encouraging other Filipinos to feature about our country, culture, and people more and make sure to share the things we can all be proud of. Use the tag and put Know Filipino in the title. I am sharing this idea with everyone so they can have something to blog about and at the same time introduce our identity to the world.
If a tag such as bnwphotography can be overly used, I also hope this tag will be as popular. I believe we have a number of Filipinos in the platform and I hope they will actively share and blog about our way of life and the many things we Filipinos are proud of.
