Aaand we’re back! Been quite busy in the weekend, and in the beginning of the new week, but I haven’t forgotten to learn something new every day!
So, this is what I have discovered in the previous days:
Today: The last Japanese unit of WWII surrendered 29 years after the end of the war in 1974. They hadn’t received information about the end of the war, so they kept hiding in the jungle of the Philippines according to their orders.
Monday: The sarcophagus, which will be installed on top of the exploded nuclear reactor in Tshernobyl, will be the largest movable structure ever built by mankind.
Sunday: Chile is the worlds longest country measured fron north to south.
Saturday: The Rustly Spotted Cat living in Sri Lanka and India is the worlds smallest cat species, with adult males weighing around 1 kg.
Long story short: each and every one of us has dreamt of reaching the final question of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Although, I’ll never probably make the show, let alone reach the million dollar question, but I would hate myself, if it’d happen and I wouldn’t be prepared.
Thats why I try to pick up a single piece of knowledge each and every day of my life. If not else I’ll know a damn lot of things, while in the rocking chair.
