An ancient human skeleton estimated to live in 7525 BC suspected to have originated from Thailand was found in Ujung Karang Bay, Takengon, Central Aceh District.
In addition, there were also elephant bone prags estimated at 10,000 years old and also found shale devices around the ancient human skeleton. This finding breaks the Austronesian theory previously believed to be the ancestor of the West Indonesian population.
The Austronesian nation is thought to have migrated to the Gayo or Indonesian Barati lands, among others, from the Philippines and Taiwan through Sulawesi. With the findings of this ancient human fossil around the period of 7525 BC to 300 AD, here it is estimated there are people from Thailand who migrate to Gayo land.
Ancient human fossils in Takengon have religious values in the way of burial, this is evident from the way the burial is with the legs folded into the burial of 25 cm from the top surface or neolithic layer. Below are some photographs of ancient humans found in Takengon Aceh Indonesia.
