The Knysna Heads Standing next to the Eastern Head
These are two sandstone cliffs at the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon and sailors find it difficult and dangerous to pass through these treacherous heads. The current surges and there are hidden rocks below the surface.
Knysna is a town on the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa. The Eastern head can be easily reached with a short walk.
