Today, Nokia, Vodafone Germany and Audi are working together to support a lunar mission: it's the 50th anniversary of NASA's first astronauts on the moon.
Vodafone said it chose Nokia as a technology partner to develop a ready-to-use network that would be a small one-kilogram object.
Vodafone added that the cooperating companies were working with BT scientists in Berlin to launch the mission in 2019 from Cape Canaveral Air Base on the Space X 9 Falcon.
