Humankind is entering the fourth industrial revolution with cutting edge technologies. We stand on the brink of a technological revolution that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and related to one another. In its scale, scope, and complexity, transformation will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before.
Developed countries like the U.S., China, Germany, and Japan have been preparing heavily for the fourth industrial revolution. South Korea is a latecomer, but it's investing heavily. South Korea must rush to catch up.
In this regard, South Korea's education innovation is urgent for competitiveness in the fourth industrial revolution. In my view, we can never expect to breed creative and innovative students if we hang on to the current education system that will only focus on college entrance exam.
