키프로스 (Cyprus)
=>지중해 동쪽 섬나라.
기원후 부터 그리스, 오스만 제국의 지배받아
그리스인과 터어키인 혼재
1960년에 영국지배로부터 독립

1974년에 그리스 군부 쿠데타에 대항 터어키군 반격으로
남부는 남부 키프로스 공화국(Republic of Cyprus)
북부는 북 키프로스 터키 공화국 정부가
(Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus)
수립되면서 우리나라처럼 분단된 상태.
키프로스 남부의 파포스(Paphos)는 신화속 인물
사랑의 여신 아프로디테(Aphrodite)가 탄생한 곳.
특히 남부지역은 문화유적지와 아름다운 해양으로
유럽인들의 휴양지로 사랑받고 있다.
Cyprus is known as
one of the island’s most spectacular spots in the world.
I absolutely think it's worth a visit.
