Hello friends, as part of my contribution to the growth of this everlasting community, I decided to create something more interactive and educative; a platform to educate our fellow Kenyans about steemit.com.
About 99% of Kenya population are not aware of steemit.com. They only know of facebook, twitter and Instagram. So here comes the responsibility to educate the youth and the entire population through our various chat rooms.
Challenges
Many people ask; "Is this real ?". A lot of people doubt steemit.com but they get to know steemit.com reality after they have read people's post.
Another challenge is the verification of new members. At times verification takes more than 48 hours which kept new entries boring as they are eager to experience steemit.com.
At times, people ask "can i post in kiswahili?" This is a little bit challenging and technical but i let them understand that, only if your readers understand your language. For steemit.com have no language barrier.
The birth of Kenya Steemit Community #kyn
With this decentralize social platform with no language barrier why not forming a community that speaks the same language. Kenya have an official mother tongue for all Kenyans which is Kiswahili. With this, even the illiterate kenyan can post on steemit.com.
This gave birth to Kenya Steemit Community with #kyn on steemit. We are the community that speaks Kiswahili. All our post will be tag kyn.
Thanks to my first member she perfectly understand my idea and decided to campaign for great membership. My great appreciation to all new members; you are warmly welcome.
am most grateful for your design
