CWH Who We Are and What We Do
Creative Work Hour is a community, a creative incubator, and a daily HIVE-staking project. We have hosted more than 3000 events since founded by 
Hive account@alessandrawhite on 1 July, 2021. Every single day we host no fewer than three events.
The first, #cuppajoe is a casual hang out, a coffee break. The second, Creative Work Hour #cwh is our flagship event that powers up daily. The third, Practice Not Perfect #pnp is our bonus event designed for muted music practice and for creative work to continue.

📻 KCWH aka BBCWH Radio 1 Rock-n-Roll Segue
One of the essential elements of #cwh is the Rock ’n’ Roll break that occurs as segue between the live events Creative Work Hour and Practice Not Perfect.
The featured track is chosen by the CWH Host of the day inspired by a topic of conversation during Cuppa Joe or from the Check Ins/Outs that frame each of the 60 minute live sessions.
Today’s Rock-n-Roll Break music was inspired by Hive account@chris-uk's creative work on his Hive post about his trip to the #hivefriends-uk MeetUp that was held on 21 February, 2026. Of the six of us who attended, five of us traveled far to get to the Meetup. Mine was the longest journey at 160 miles, then

Hive account@nicklewis' was 80 miles, and 
Hive account@shanibeer's journey clocked in at 70 miles. Our local

Of all of our journeys Hive account@chris-uk's was the most inconvenient. I won't spoil what he had to endure for the pleasure of our company, so you should read his version of events. That said, his story brought to mind David Bowie's Station to Station album. In his honor, for our break, I choose Golden Years. This version is from our upcoming CWH March Drive-in Movie Party, "A Knight's Tale" (2001), that is if Hive account@bitterirony approves it! 😆
