#673 - Macroshots for Thursday.
Good evening once again my dear Hiveans friends. How's your day or night so far? I am still adjusting my body clock while working at nights, it will be the setup for the next four weeks. My wife and I barely slept the whole day, felt like we only slept for less than six hours overall because we suddenly woke up because of the loud noises from the surroundings like vehicles passing with their horns and the dogs barking outside, then a delivery man shouting 😂🤣. We are residing in a very busy street and there's a lot going on during the day which make it really difficult to sleep during the day couple that with the hot temperature. There's no rain here already and the sun is already lit up so we are back to hot days once again.
Moving to our daily shots we have here some macro photography of tiny insects that we encountered during our trek to a waterfalls in the remote village of Luisiana. On our way from one of the first three falls going to the main Hulugan water falls which they call it, I saw this group of young grasshopper 🦗 which are closely tight with each others. They are gathered on one plant and they are also having a feast on the green leaves of this perennial plant. The plant has several stems and from the top of those stems which are abundantly full of green leaves are a lot of these small hoppers. It could only take them a day to finish this whole plant because of their sheer numbers.
These small hoppers are actually friendly and do not shy away and leave. They just stayed on their spot while my lens come close to the leaves they are staying on. They barely move an inch and just look at the lens.
There's also this black and orange spider that has a long stretch of skinny stomach. When we were kids we use to play those spiders with rounder shape of stomachs unlike this one, the round shape stomach spiders we used to collect before are great in fighting other spiders of the same kind. It's kinda nostalgic looking back on those days but I have regrets that I played them which lead to their deaths by eating the weaker spiders. Up to now, spider fighting is still a thing and people even gamble money for it.
Then we got here a tiny orange colored ladybug beetle 🐞. I saw it on a leaf while it walks around. The critter has this translucent covering on its back and head. There are also several black dots on the cover. I noticed on its head are also two tiny black dots which look like its eyes.
