Yesterday we went to Bélapátfalva, to spend a full day at my friends' house. While Tamás were making his new drum with the help of the drum-maker János, and i took a short walk in the village.
Bélkő is a limestone hill that was a quarry long ago. You can see the rocks were blown up stepwise, one step is more than 3 meters. A winding trail leads to the top of the hill is not worth to shorten the trail because it is very dangerous, that's very steep and there are many boulders. Mining has been ceased long ago and nature gradually recovers the landscape.
The photos are original and taken with Panasonic FZ82.
