I'll take you to the border of Vienna and Lower Austria where we walk Lily, the chihuahua princess of mom in-law. It is lovely to walk in here especially it is very peaceful and beautiful ..the fields become so green after hard winter months and the local farmers make efforts to really take good care of the landscape of the area.
A few minutes walk down to the left is the Marchfeld Kanal where bikers thread their way on both sides of the creek...the biker's route is actually 7 km.
We love to walk Lily here and we know she loves it too for she is now used to smell the grass and the wildflowers. She didn't experience this way of walking as mom in-law lives in the district where most of the areas are cemented.
You can see the silhouette of the buildings among others the United Nations Headquarters behind the bushes. It's not that far, the underground U-bahn is just 3 km from here and these buildings can be reached in just a few minutes.
