A few years ago I went to Thailand, specifically Singburi, to volunteer in an orphanage. I met so many nice people (Thai and international) and had so many new experiences. I volunteered in the orphanage for a few weeks. Together with other volunteers we played with the kids, painted their school, gave first aid treatment after a silly fall and so much more. It was hard to leave, but after this adventure the next awaited. The next stop in my Thai adventure was the jungle. I hiked with two other travelers and a local for a few days (without proper equipment, oops) and slept in tents. The things you see when you detach yourself from society for a few days are the most beautiful. When we made it back to civilization it was time to recover and spend the last week at the beach and this is when I took this picture, it sure was a trip to never forget. So the photo was taken on the beach, and it was remarkable to see those dark clouds as only seconds before it was the perfect weather for a swim. I went there in our European summer, which corresponds to the monsoon there. This is why the fierce looking clouds came in just seconds as the warm ocean air flows over the continent, filled the sky with clouds and I was able to take this shot.
