The striking beauty of Whirl Bay near Sonora Island off the coast of Vancouver Island. Its apply named for the rushing current that flows between Stewart Island and Sonora creating huge whirl pools as the tides change.
Famous not only for its diving but also for the salmon fishing in the area, its a fantastic place both above and below the water. In the distance you can see the fishing resort located on Sonora Island.
Thanks for reading and happy travels.
