Well, I was planning on posting this yesterday but um, yeah... Anyway, here is a cool looking tree I shot on Sunday. There is an incredible view of Lake Tahoe in the area but after I photographed that, I started to explore the edges of the aspen grove and found this nice scene. It's great to have something in mind when shooting but sometimes with an open mind and willingness to explore, you can find little visual treasures like this.
Shot on a Canon 5DS R with a 24-105mm lens set at 24mm. A polarizing filter was used to bring out a little more color saturation in the yellow leaves and more blue in the sky. A tripod was used, the shutter speed was 1/40 second. The ISO was 400, and the aperture was f13.
